So, my dishwashers still broke. The man of the house was unable to fix it and I'm either just that cheap or just that broke, that I can't bring myself to get it repaired. So, I'm still doing dishes by hand.
Today, I was in the middle of the task, with the 2 little ones drying the plastic dishes, when the phone rang. I stepped away from the sink, only to return to this.
Yes, those are plastic sea animals swimming in my dish water.
Notice the seal taking a dip in the suds. What the pictures don't convey is the 2 gallons of of water all over the floor and the fact that I could wring out both of their shirts.
And of course, instead of yelling, I pull out a camera! What am I teaching these kids?

I don't know how you are coping without a dishwasher!! I would tear it out with my bare hands and rob RC Willey or a neighbor!! Your kids are too funny! At least they are having fun with it!
I'm sorry. But like Jamie, at least their having fun! I love how cheerful they are .... I need that same attitude when I'm doing the dishes.
That's hilarious....look at how cute they look. Isn't it amazing how fast they can destruct things.
Have you asked Dale to look at it yet? I can't believe you are living without a dishwasher. I don't even want to do the dishes with the dishwasher.
Amy just wondering??? If the dishwasher is broken, why is it open with dishes in it??? Just curious?? I love that your kids want to help. It doesn't last long. I wash all my pans by hand still and Lexi was doing the dishes yesterday... she loaded only cups silverware and left the pans. I will save them and she can do all the dishes again tonight. :) Kids are Awesome...
Hey Amy~ I can't believe that your kids are that big already! They're Cute!
The picture makes me laugh because we moved into our home 2 years ago and the dishwasher was broken. We have had it looked at twice, but no luck. So we have been handwashing for years now. And I still hate it! One day I will have a dishwasher.
I am glad I found your blog!
