March: Humanitarian Aid
The LDS churches humanitarian aid office has different care packages that you can donate to. Infant, School, and overall Care. Each person picked the kind they wanted to do. We went shopping and bought the items needed. It was interesting to see the simiple things people need.
April: Shampoo for Charity
Jetblue has a collection box for all the hotel shampoo, conditioners, and soaps that crewmembers collect in their travels. Then they donate all the items to a charity organization that puts together care packages. So,we went through our drawers and ended up with over 50 bottles. We tookt the items to Jetblue to be donated.
May: Locks of Love
Avery was our service provider for May. She cut 10" off her hair and donated the stresses to Locks of Love. It was harder on mom than on her. She now loves her short hair, and loves knowing that she help some other girl who doesn't have hair.
