Halle has loved the dirt since she was born. So, this year we decided to put that love into good use. On a rare day when it was just Halle and I, and was not raining, we went to the store and bought some flowers.

She bought a couple bags of rich soil and flowers. Her color palet included purple, pink and yellow. We both got new gardening gloves and off we went.

At home she grabbed a rake and went straight to work.

We strategiclly planted the flowers in the ground.

She learned to be gentle with the little plants or they would break.

After some fertilizer, her work was done. Now, we wait!
